Abroad: Week 4

We traveled to Vienna, Austria this weekend. It was an amazing city and had such beautiful sights. I began to get homesick this week, which I think shows in my photos. I took photos of sights and spots that seemed empty and more ominous than my usual work. I have begun to notice a pattern in my work. I have been shooting a lot of doors, which I may continue to shoot and create a typology of them. The last photo in the set above was a sort of happy accident. I took a sideways panorama of a building on my phone, and it created the image squished and sideways. I kind of like it this way though, and may continue to take sideways panoramas.
